The true value of a home can only be realized when the entire property—including not just the building and interior spaces but also the outdoor open spaces—is integrated and utilized effectively.

In recent years, interest has grown—particularly in initiatives related to the landscape environment—centered on the “intermediate zone within the property” that connects the interior and exterior of a home.
Especially in urban housing, how to integrate limited private gardens into daily life has become a key issue.

That’s why we’d like to highlight the concept of “HACONIWA,” which involves enjoying an outdoor private space as “another room set up outside.”
By combining the perspective of “interior design” experts—who specialize in UCHI (interiors) through furniture and decor—with that of “exterior design” experts—who excel in structural design and landscaping—and by balancing the strengths and weaknesses of both approaches, we believe we can propose a new kind of garden value unlike anything seen before.

In this webinar, we will explore the potential of private gardens—outdoor spaces that epitomize “
” outdoor living —focusing on the following themes.

  • Why Private Gardens on Limited Lots Are Gaining Attention
  • Creating Spaces That Bring "HACONIWA" to Life
  • The Potential of the "SOTOnoMA 'Separate Building'" Outdoor Living Space
  • New Value Created by Interior and Exterior Design

Interior design and gardens; architecture and outdoor spaces.
By combining our respective knowledge and strengths, we may be able to create new ideas and open up new markets.
We look forward to exploring with you the “transitional spaces between the interior and exterior of a home” and how to create outdoor living spaces for the homes of the future.

Furthermore, in the second half, we’ll introduce “Scanat ”—which allows users to capture 3D data of job sites using iPhones and iPads—as well as “RIKCAD,” an exterior and landscape design CAD program, to introduce digital transformation (DX) processes ranging from site surveys to spatial proposals.
We also welcomed Mr. Ikeda, Representative Director of Luboa Co., Ltd., who actuallyScanatMr. Ikeda, CEO of Le Boa Co., Ltd., who actually uses “” and RIKCAD in his daily work, will take the stage. From the real-world challenges of exterior site surveys to reducing survey time and utilizing point cloud data for design and proposals, he will discuss actual workflows and results from a user’s perspective.
