On Saturday, November 15, 2025, 町田ひろ子, the Academy’s principal, will speak as a guest lecturer at a seminar hosted by the Niigata Association of Interior Designers.

The theme of the seminar is “Learning × Disaster Preparedness = A Future Created by the Next Generation.”
This seminar will explore “A Rich Lifestyle and Interior Design That Can Withstand Disasters, ” based on Machida’s concept of “Beautiful Disaster Preparedness Through Interior Design,” as well as “Ways for Students and the Younger Generation to Combine Their Careers with Social Contribution.”

Machida, a leading interior designer, has been working to promote disaster-resistant yet beautiful interiors ever since the Great East Japan Earthquake.
We believe this event will serve as a great opportunity to enhance disaster preparedness in your lifestyle and home, and to incorporate beauty, safety, and comfort into your living spaces, so we encourage anyone interested to join us.
