We are pleased to announce that our service, " Scanat," has won the Grand Prize at the "SHIBUYA QWS STARTUP AWARD #1."
[What is the SHIBUYA QWS STARTUP AWARD #1?]
The SHIBUYA QWS STARTUP AWARD is a pitch contest for startups that are in the process of being established or have been in operation for five years or less and have a demo-ready product. It is organized by SHIBUYA QWS (hereinafter referred to as QWS).
QWS is a membership-based co-creation facility designed to bring together a diverse range of people to interact and generate ideas and new ventures that contribute to social value. Since opening in November 2019, QWS has offered its own unique programs and supported more than 190 projects that aim to create new social value not yet seen in the world, while also hosting numerous pitch contests for QWS members.
This year, marking the third anniversary of SHIBUYA QWS, we held a pitch contest open to everyone, with planning support and media partnership assistance from Boundless Inc., the company that organized "TechCrunch Tokyo," one of Japan’s largest technology and startup festivals.
Five finalists were selected from a large number of entries, and nat (product name: Scanat ) won the Grand Prize, securing the right to display its product on large-scale digital signage around Shibuya Station (worth 2 million yen) and a grant of 1 million yen to support its activities.
