In this seminar, held in collaboration with KENTEM (Construction System Co., Ltd.), the developer of “PRODOUGU,” we will explain methods for reducing overtime hours at construction sites through the use of digital transformation (DX), taking into account initiatives by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) regarding maintenance and repair work.

Among the Work Style Reform-related laws enacted in 2019, the regulations on overtime limits are subject to penalties of “imprisonment for up to six months or a fine of up to 300,000 yen.”
While enforcement has been postponed until 2024 in the construction industry due to the time required to improve working conditions, as of 2020, more than 60 percent of construction companies may be subject to these regulations.
In this seminar, we will focus on the details of the upper limits on overtime work and explain the Work-Style Reform-Related Laws, taking into account the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s initiatives regarding maintenance and repair work (
), as well as methods for reducing overtime hours at construction sites through the use of digital transformation (DX).
