   The Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun and the Japan Disaster Prevention Industry Council will host an exhibition showcasing services and products related to the disaster prevention industry under the theme “Toward the Realization of a Resilient Society Through Disaster Prevention and Mitigation.”
 According to the government’s Earthquake Research Committee, there is approximately a 90% probability that a massive earthquake with a magnitude of 8 to 9 will occur in the Nankai Trough within the next 40 years. As such, the development of business continuity plans (BCPs)—designed to enable companies and local governments to respond quickly and recover in the event of large-scale earthquakes or torrential rain caused by climate change—is considered crucial for restoring daily life.Furthermore, an earthquake with a maximum seismic intensity of 7 struck the Noto Peninsula in January 2024, further heightening awareness of the risks posed by large-scale disasters.

    At the Disaster Prevention Industry Expo 2025, we’ll showcase the latest technology trends, including a hands-on demo area where even first-time users can easily try out the high-precision 3D measurement app “Scanat "—which is easy for first-time users to operate and simple for small and medium-sized enterprises and sole proprietors to implement—as well as consultations on various challenges faced by company representatives, all presented alongside the latest technology trends.
