Yuna Fukushima: 3 years architect
Yuna Fukushima Architect - 3 years with the company

1. Self-Introduction, Reason for Joining the Company, and Impressions Since Joining

I joined a major homebuilder right out of college and worked in various architecture-related roles, including new construction design, interior coordination, and renovation sales.
I was introduced to Bruce through a mutual acquaintance, which is how I learned Scanat. I was blown away by the idea of being able to take the space you’re looking at with you—I thought it was amazing. I decided to join the company because I wanted to be part of Scanat growth.
Since I’d been involved with the company for a little over half a year even before joining, my impression of it hasn’t changed much before and after I started.

2. Job Description and Rewards

I’m in charge of creating CAD drawings in the Architectural Design Department. Thanks to everyone’s support, we’ve been receiving a lot of CAD requests, so I’m creating drawings every day.
When I joined the company, my job involved converting 3D models into drawings—something no one had ever done before (there were no precedents)—so I developed the current process while figuring out how to create drawings that would be practical for our work. Since I had worked in architecture at my previous job, I understood what our clients wanted, which allowed me to apply my past experience to this role and made the work very rewarding.
We also receive a lot of requests (including many from repeat clients), and it makes me happy to know that the drawings I create are proving useful.

3. Workplace Atmosphere and Relationships

Since there are many young employees, I think it’s a comfortable place to work.

4. What nat? What sets it apart from other companies?

Since we’re a startup, I can really see the company growing year by year. The number of customers is increasing, the number of employees is growing, and, of course, the range of things we can do Scanat is expanding as well.
I feel really fortunate to be a part of this growth.

5. What are your future goals and vision? What challenges would you like to take on in the future?

I’d like to use Scanat for my design and interior coordination work.

6. What kind of people would you like to work with in the future?

I want to work with people who can find joy in everything and are willing to take on new challenges.
