(formerly of Taisei Corporation), has joined the company as an advisor.
◾️Brief Biography of Yohei Tanabe
In April 1994, he joined Taisei Corporation. After gaining experience in construction management across various projects, he took charge of “developing a large-scale cost estimation system,” “implementing IT across group companies,” and “collaborating on the development and internal implementation of large-scale cloud services,” leading business reforms focused on the use of ASP and cloud services within the construction division.In 2009, he launched an iOS application called “Field Pad,” becoming a pioneer in the adoption of iPads in the construction industry; he was also featured in Nikkei BP’s book *Outstanding Talent: “Unconventional Innovators”*.In recent years, he has demonstrated expertise in modern IT architecture, including the complete restructuring of a massive service used by over 70,000 users using full-fledged microservices design methodologies. He has spoken at numerous seminars and events not limited to the construction industry, and after leaving the company in March 2024, he will embark on a new challenge as Representative Director of Build-C Co., Ltd.

As the world’s first iOS app capable of measuring down to the millimeter, Scanat was adopted by over 200 companies in its first year of release across a wide range of regions—including 42 prefectures nationwide—in industries such as construction, real estate, and manufacturing.Since then, we have continued to expand various services centered around Scanat (

We are pleased to announce that we have appointed Mr. Yohei Tanabe—who possesses extensive specialized knowledge and a broad network gained through his experience in both the construction and IT fields—as an advisor. Our plan is to accelerate the penetration of our services into the construction industry and other sectors, while also having Mr. Tanabe share his worldview and work philosophy with our internal team, thereby enhancing our corporate value and accelerating our business growth.
