On Thursday, February 26, 2026, we held the “RICOH360 &Scanat Application Seminar: ‘Utilizing 360° Images and Spatial Data at Construction and Contracting Sites’” on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

In this seminar, co-hosted by Ricoh Co., Ltd. and our company, we introduced the latest applications of on-site digital transformation (DX) that combine 360° cameras and 3D scanning.

On the day of the event, we welcomed participants from a variety of industries, including construction, civil engineering, and architecture, and there was a great deal of interest in the new workflow that allows “tasks to be completed with just a single photo of the site.”

The presentation explained methods for carrying out the entire process—from “shooting → sharing → reviewing”—in a single, seamless workflow.

We shared specific methods for moving away from the traditional “photos plus drawings” approach to our work.

What stood out to me most throughout the seminar was,
